Answer:

Self-fulfilling prophecy

Explanation:

A self-fulfilling prophecy is a term in sociopsychology that describes the belief or expectation of an individual predicting or expecting an outcome, and this outcome or expectation coming to pass, based on the individual's belief that it will pass and such person's resulting behaviors aligning to fulfill the belief.

In other words, it is a form of prediction that show the effects of the potential power of stereotypes and other sources of expectations on human behavior that causes itself to be true due to the behavior of the believer.

Hence, in this case, when the teachers' expectations were reflected in the students' performance, this is an illustration of SELF-FULFILLING PROPHECY.

Alekssandra [29.7K]

Truth in Lending Act is the federal law that requires the cost of credit be disclosed to consumers in bold print on loan agreement

Explanation:

The Truth in Lending Act (TILA) passed in 1968 to take care whether the consumers are treated fairly by revealing about the true cost of credit. The credit documents should be made very clear to the consumers. It does not place limitations on banks about how enough interest they may impose or whether they must give a loan.

This TILA statement includes annual percentage rate, schedule of payment and finance charges and the repayment within loan lifetime. Regulation Z is alternative name for Truth in Lending Act. Both the terms can be used in all aspects of lending and credit card purposes.
