According to Albert Einstein's theory of photoelectric effect, metals will only emit electrons when the incident light has a frequency that is above the minimum or threshold frequency.

So if the frequency of the incident light is less than the threshold frequency then electrons will not be emitted from that metal.

How do the percent compositions for C3H6 and C4H7 compare?
mariarad [96]

A. They are the same

Further explanation

Given

C3H6 and C4H8

Required

The percent compositions

Solution

 • C₃H₆(MW = 42 g/mol)

%C = 3.12/42 x 100% = 85.71%

%H = 6.1/42 x 1005 = 14.29%

C₄H₈(MW=56 g/mol)

%C = 4.12/56 x 100% = 85.71%

%H = 8.1/56 x 100%=14.29%

So they are the same, because mol ratio of C and H in both compounds is the same, 1: 2

As the pendulum moves from point 2 to point 3, what happens to its mechanical energy?potential energy is converted to kinetic en
ahrayia [7]

Answer: Potential energy is converted to kinetic energy and back again.

Explanation:At points 1 and 3, the pendulum stops moving, and its mechanical energy is purely potential. At point 2, the pendulum is moving the fastest, and its mechanical energy is purely kinetic. Therefore, as the pendulum moves from point 1 to point 3, its potential energy is first converted to kinetic energy, then back to potential.
