Answer:

2.a)31°

b)135°

3.a)72°

Step-by-step explanation:

2a) Angles in a straight line add up to 180°

180-62=118°

since in an isosceles triangle base angles are equal 62÷2=31°

b)sum of interior angles=180(n-2)

180(8-2)=1080°

each angle is 1080÷8=135°

3.a) Exterior angle=360/n

=360÷5=72° each

I need both of these help!
marysya [2.9K]
The angle next to the angle 5x is 180 - 5x

All angles sum to 360

(6x - 58) + (2x + 4) + (180 - 5x) = 180
3x + 126 = 180
3x = 54
x = 18

For question 10, sum of angles in pentagon is 540 degrees

x + 105 + 85 + 114 + 126 = 540
x + 430 = 540
x = 110

Why isn’t the maximum ACT score (36) at the 100th percentile?
irga5000 [103]

Answer and Explanations

ACT score percentile help colleges compare students with one another, rather than just looking at everyone’s score. The score range is between 1 and 36, the highest score that one can receive on the ACT is 36. Moreover, 36 is the perfect score.

The maximum ACT score (36) is that in 2018, only 3,741 students (out of millions of test-takers) scored a perfect 36 on the ACT. The 99th percentile of test-takers includes those who earn 35 or 34 on the ACT. We can miss up to five questions on the ACT and still earn a 36. That is a reason why the maximum ACT score is 36 at the 100th percentile.

The ACT score report will provide more information about test-taking experience in the form of sub score. The higher the score, you will get into the colleges of your choice.

This is a tough one :/
If f(x) = -x + 7 and g(x) = radical of x– 3,
what is (f º g)(4)
Jlenok [28]

Answer:

6

Step-by-step explanation:

To solve, first plug in 4 as your x value for your g(x) equation.

g(4)=\sqrt{4-3} \\g(4)=\sqrt{1} \\g(4)=1

Next, plug in the value of g(4) into your f(x) equation for x.

f(1)=-1+7\\f(1)=6

I WILL GIVE BRAINLIEST TO WHOEVER IS CORRECT
natali 33 [55]

Because M is the midpoint of AB, then AM and MB are equal distances. And because a segment can be written as the sum of its pieces, AM + MB = AB.

So,

AM + MB = AB <--- distance of a segment is the sum of its pieces

AM + AM = AB <--- M is the midpoint, so AM = MB

3x + 3 + 3x + 3 =  8x - 6   <--- substituting known amounts that were given

6x + 6 = 8x - 6                  <--- collect like terms on the left side

6x = 8x - 12                       <--- subtract 6 on both sides

-2x = -12                            <--- subtract 8x on both sides

x = 6                                  <--- divide both sides by -2

Because x = 6, we put it back into AM. 3(6) + 3 = 18 + 3 = 21

Thus, AM is 21 units.
