Answer: C. The Inquiry process does not use hypotheses, while the Scientific Method

does.

Explanation:

The scientific inquiry can be define as the coordinated and thoughtful attempt made to search, describe, explain and determine the cause of the natural phenomena. It is a continuous process which involves the questioning, data collection, analysis and conclusion. It does not include the formation of a hypothesis.

The scientific methodology deals with the process of answering the questions related to cause of natural processes. It involves making an observations, formulating a hypothesis, based on hypothesis experimentation, formulation of results by analysis of data and interpretation.

On the basis of the above description, the notion of the inquiry as well as the scientific method can be the same but the procedure is different. The scientific inquiry does not involve the formulation of hypothesis it is the difference between the two.
