<h2><u>Answer:</u></h2>

y = cos ^- 1 (x)

Step-by-step explanation:

The Function y = cos -1x = arccos x and its Graph: Since y = cos -1x is the inverse of the function y = cos x, the function y = cos -1x if and only if cos y = x. This leaves the range of the restricted function unchanged as [-1, 1].

Find the quotient of these complex numbers.

9514 1404 393

Answer:

  C.  (45+11i)/29

Step-by-step explanation:

Multiply numerator and denominator by the conjugate of the denominator.

  \dfrac{5-7i}{2-5i}=\dfrac{(5-7i)(2+5i)}{(2-5i)(2+5i)}=\dfrac{(5)(2)+(-7i)(5i) +(5)(5i)+(-7i)(2)}{2^2+5^2}\\\\=\dfrac{(10+35)+(24-14)i}{29}=\boxed{\dfrac{45}{29}+\dfrac{11}{29}i}

State the domain and range of the following relation<br> x^2+y^2=16
Vlada [557]

The domain and range is  [-4, 4] and [0, 4]

<h3 /><h3>What is Domain and range?</h3>

The domain of a function is the set of values that we are allowed to plug into our function.

The range of a function is the set of values that the function assumes.

x² + y² = 16

y = √16 - x²

For domain under root should not be negative quantity,

16 - x²≥0

16≥x²

So, x≤4 or x≥4

Thus, the domain is  [-4, 4]

Range:

y is maximum at x=0, y=4

y is minimum at x=4, y=0

Thus, range = [0, 4]

4a/3-b/4=6<br> 5a/6+b=13<br> Solve linear system by elimination
kondor19780726 [428]
\bf \cfrac{4a}{3}-\cfrac{b}{4}=6&#10;\qquad \qquad &#10;\cfrac{5a}{6}+b=13&#10;\\\\\\&#10;\textit{let us remove the denominators off those folks}\\&#10;\textit{by multiplying the first one by 12, both sides}\\&#10;\textit{and the second one by 6, both sides, thus}&#10;\\\\\\&#10;12\left( \cfrac{4a}{3}-\cfrac{b}{4} \right)=12(6)\implies 16a-4b=72&#10;\\\\\\&#10;6\left( \cfrac{5a}{6}+b \right)=6(13)\implies 5a+6b=78

\bf  \textit{now, let's do the elimination}&#10;\\\\&#10;&#10;\begin{array}{llll}&#10;16a-4b=72&\boxed{\times 3}\implies &48a-\underline{12b}=216\\\\&#10;5a+6b=78&\boxed{\times 2}\implies &10a+\underline{12b}=156\\&#10;&&--------\\&#10;&&58a+0\quad=372&#10;\end{array}

solve for "a", once you get "a", plug it back into either equation to get "b"
