A nomad is someone who lives by traveling from place to place. Nomadic thus means anything that involves moving around a lot. Nomadic hunter-gatherer tribes follow the animals they hunt, carrying tents with them. You don't have to be a nomad to live a nomadic lifestyle

As leaders of a tax rebellion the 1780s, daniel shays and his supporters demanded
Sergeeva-Olga [200]

In 1781 the coin shilling was worth 75 times more than a paper shilling, because of that, all debts should be paid with coin and not paper. Farmers were especially moved by that and many of them had to sell their farms to get money and pay debts. With that, Daniel Shay - a former captain in the continental army - led an army of farmers in a revolt that was called Shay’s Rebellion. They demanded tax relief and a moratorium on debt collection. In the end, the rebellion was put down but it pushed the federal government to provide economic relief.

What occurred, in part, because of President Wilson's Fourteen Points?
slega [8]

B. Germany requested an armistice to end the war and negotiate peace terms.

Explanation:

  • The speech took place ten months before the ceasefire that ended World War I, but it was precisely the Fourteen Points that formed the basis for the German surrender, and they were negotiated at the 1919 Paris Peace Conference that resulted in the Treaty of Versailles.
  • However, only four of the fourteen points were fully implemented in the post-war reconstruction of Europe, and the US itself refused to ratify the Treaty of Versailles.
