I don't think so because if u added 2 cups or blue food coloring in water, it will be more blue than 3 cups but I can't really give a mathematical explanation.

You need to determine where to place the beams so that the chains are fastened to the rollercoaster at a height of 25 feet.
liubo4ka [24]

The roller coaster is an illustration of a right triangle

 • The equation needed to solve the horizontal distance is h^2 =30^2 -25^2
 • The horizontal distance is 16.58 feet

How to determine the equation

The height is given as: 25 feet.

From the complete question, the length of the roller coaster is 30 feet.

Represent the horizontal distance with h.

Given that the roller coaster represents the hypotenuse side length, the following equation can be used to find h

30^2 = h^2 + 25^2

Collect like terms

h^2 =30^2 -25^2

The horizontal distance

In (a), we have:

h^2 =30^2 -25^2

This gives

h^2 =275

Take the roots of both sides

h =16.58

Hence, the horizontal distance is 16.58 feet

An object traveled 691.12 feet in 21.2 seconds.
Basile [38]
When we divide the number of feet (~700) by the number of seconds (~20), we get a number that is more than 30 (ft/s). Thus, only choices B and D are viable.

When we invert that rate, we get 1/(30 ft/s) = (1/30) s/ft, leaving the only viable choice as ...
 B. 32.6 ft/s and approximately 0.03 s/ft

______
Units (feet, seconds) multiply and divide like any other variable. It is often useful to keep the units with the numbers of a problem so you can tell if you've done the math properly. It is more likely to be correct if the units are correct.

Find te slope of the graph
Mumz [18]

Answer:

It is d. 3/2

Step-by-step explanation:

slope formula is rise over run or x2-x1/y2-y1. So it would be 6-0/4-0. That equals 6/4. You just need to simplify that by dividing both 6 and 4 by 2 and you get 3/2.
