The water cycle describes the process that how water evaporates from the surface of the earth, rises into the atmosphere, cools and condenses into rain or snow in clouds, and falls again to the surface as precipitation. There are four main stages in the water cycle. They are evaporation, condensation, precipitation and collection. The earth has a limited amount of water.  That water keeps going around and around what we call the "Water Cycle".
