Check to see if the person is conscious, and check vital signs. And if so ask if you can help them. Have someone call 911. Make sure that the airway is clear. Perform CPR and rescue breaths, checking to any changes in vital signs.

I would prepare to start preforming CPR, but first I would check the environment and around Mr Jackson and I then ask him if he is okay. Then ask for my classmate to call 911 and get an AED. Next I would open Mr. Jackson's airway, making it easier to breath. Then I will check for 10 seconds if Mr. Jackson can breath, if he dosen't I will begin CPR. I will lock my hands on the middle of the chest and using my body weight to make 2 inch deep compressions in 100 compressions per minuite. After that I wil place the head slightly back and chin lifted to deliver 2 rescue breaths. Lastly I will continue CPR till some help comes, or my classmate finds the AED or if Mr. Jackson starts breathing.
