Answer:

In my opinion, it was unsuccessful.

Explanation:

The Kansas-Nebraska Act was an 1854 bill that mandated “popular sovereignty”–allowing settlers of a territory to decide whether slavery would be allowed within a new state's borders. On paper, this seemed like a good idea but instead, it lead to even more fighting between the North and South. Thousands of people, from the North and South, flooded each state in order to try and sway the vote in their favor. It was especially bad in Kansas and caused what we now call "Bleeding Kansas" which led to hundreds of American deaths. In the end, it just pushed the Union closer to war.

Many older people resist ageism by continuing to view themselves as being in middle adulthood long after their chronological age
marshall27 [118]

Answer:

75

Explanation:

In psychology, the term "Ageism" was first proposed by Robert N. Butler to described discrimination and prejudice towards people who are old and based on the fact that ageing makes individuals less productive, intelligent, attractive, and sexual, etc.

Generally, people resist ageism due to various reasons including fear of disability, fear of dependence, and fear of death. However, people tend to avoid, reject, or segregate ageism and therefore it is considered as their coping mechanism in regards to age.
