Emma will eat more fast food and have a shorter life expectancy.
When her grandmother was younger there was no such thing as fast food, additives, processed food and food that was produced through unhealthy means. They ate real home cooked food from real ingredients and more than likely ate most of their meals together as a family. Their lifestyle would also have been more active and healthier.
I would say PPE, or Personal Protective Equipment
PPE would include gloves, masks or anything else that protects yourself from coming into contact with infectious disease or other harmful materials
Her metabolism might catch up with her and if she's not exercising properly she could gain weight.
