If we say total base ball cards he has is C.
then he has to divide equally in 5 groups
so expression would be C/5
think if he has 10 cards total so he will divide them in 5 grp=10/5=2
each grp has 2 cards.

The graph of a proportional relationship contains the point (-30, 18)
Elena L [17]

Answer:

k=-\frac{3}{5}

Step-by-step explanation:

we know that

A relationship between two variables, x, and y, represent a proportional variation if it can be expressed in the form k=\frac{y}{x} or y=kx

In a proportional relationship the constant of proportionality k is equal to the slope m of the line and the line passes through the origin

we have the point (-30,18)

so

x=-30, y=18

Find the value of k

k=\frac{y}{x}

substitute

k=\frac{18}{-30}

Simplify

Divide by 6 both numerator and denominator

k=-\frac{3}{5}

makvit [3.9K]
Sean read 15 of a book in = 112 hours,
so, 1 of a book in = 112/15

Now, 12 of a book would be: 112/15 * 12 = 112/5 * 4 = 89.6

89.6 = 89 6/10 = 89 3/5

In short, Your Answer would be 89 3/5 hours
