Answer:

The most likely abundant organelle in skeletal muscle cells are know as myofibrils which is a contractile apparatus mostly containing the contractile proteins actin and myosin with the regulatory proteins troponin and tropomyosin.

In addition the skeletal muscle cell cytoplasm contains numerous mitochondria, as well as abundant glycogen to provide energy. The contractile elements of skeletal muscle cells (myofibrils) are thin cylindrical structures 1–2 µm in diameter.

Explanation:

Skeletal muscle fibers, or muscle cells, are formed from the fusion of developmental myoblasts in a process known as myogenesis. Muscle fibers are cylindrical and have more than one nucleus. They also have multiple mitochondria to meet energy needs. Muscle fibers are in turn composed of myofibrils.

The myofibril is a long cylindrical organelle found in skeletal muscle cells formed by two transverse filament systems: the thick and thin filaments. The thin filament is composed primarily of actin; it is tethered at one end to the Z-disk, and it interdigitates with the thick filaments. Thaey slide past one another, producing a contraction that changes both the length and the shape of the cell to produce force and motion.

The skeletal muscle vigorous activity and unusually high energy requirement is powered by organelles known as mitochondria which resist the force of gravity, generate heat by shivering, pump blood, move substances through hollow organs and produce strong bodily movements.

a current of 5 ampere is passed for 2 hours in an electric iron having a resistance of 100 ohms calculate the heat produced
Alina [70]

Answer:

\boxed{\sf Heat \ produced \ (H) = 5 \ kWh}

Given:

Resistance (R) = 100 Ω

Current (I) = 5 A

Time (t) = 2 hours

To Find:

Heat developed (H) in the electric iron

Explanation:

Formula:

\boxed{ \bold{ \sf H = I^2Rt}}

Substituting values of I, R & t in the equation:

\sf \implies H =  {5}^{2}  \times 100 \times 2 \\  \\ \sf \implies H = 25 \times 100 \times 2 \\  \\  \sf \implies H = 5000  \\  \\ \sf \implies H = 5 \: kWh

\therefore

Heat developed (H) in the electric iron = 15 kWh

What is the relationship between the center of gravity and the support base for an object that is in stable equilibrium?
Norma-Jean [14]

Answer:

when the center of gravity is within the washing area, the torque returns in the body to its initial position and is in a stable equilibrium

Explanation:

The concept of center of gravity is equivalent to the concept of center of mass, in this place all external forces applied can be considered.

When we analyze the balance of a body that is the torque it is the one that defines the balance

      τ = F xd

If the torque tends to restore the body to the initial position the balance is stable, but if the torque has to increase the body's rotation the balance is unstable

. When the body tends to rotate the torque with respect to the pivot point at the base it decreases because the distance from the center of gravity to the end of the base decreases in value, but it has to return it to the initial position, the balance is stable. The critical point of this process is when the center of gravity is at the limit of the body base area in this case the torque is zero; If the body rotates a little more the center of gravity is outside the base, the torque changes sign and has to increase the turn, going to an unstable balance.

In summary, when the center of gravity is within the washing area, the torque returns in the body to its initial position and is in a stable equilibrium.

An inductor is connected to an AC power supply having a maximum output voltage of 3.00 V at a frequency of 280 Hz. What inductan
Sergio [31]

Answer:

L = 0.48 H

Explanation:

let L be the inductance, Irms be the rms current, Vrms be the rms voltage and Vmax  be the maximum voltage and XL be the be the reactance of the inductor.

Vrms = Vmax/(√2)

         = (3.00)/(√2)

         = 2.121 V

then:

XL = Vrms/I

     = (2.121)/(2.50×10^-3)

     = 848.528 V/A

that is L = XL/(2×π×f)

              = (848.528)/(2×π×(280))

              = 0.482 H

Therefore, the inductance needed to kepp the rms current less than 2.50mA is 0.482 H.
