Answer:   –0.83 represents the strongest correlation .

Step-by-step explanation:

We know that when the r value is closer to +1 or -1, it represents that there is a stronger correlation.

From all the given correlation coefficient ,

Out of all the r value closest to the absolute value of 1 is -0.83.

Therefore, the -0.83 is the r value which represents the strongest correlation among all.

Mary Stahley invested $2500 in a 36-month certifi- cate of deposit (CD) that earned 8.5% annual simple interest. When the CD mat
nata0808 [166]

9514 1404 393

Answer:

  $13,916.24

Step-by-step explanation:

First, we need to find the value of the CD at maturity.

  A = P(1 +rt) . . . . simple interest rate r for t years

  A = $2500(1 +0.085·3) = $2500×1.255 = $3137.50

__

Now, we can find the value of the account with compound interest.

  A = P(1 +r)^t . . . . . rate r compounded annually for t years

  A = $3137.50 × 1.18^9 = $13,916.24

The mutual fund was worth $13,916.24 after 9 years.

If the trends in this table continue , after how many years y will the population of Manchester , NH be more than the population
Sonbull [250]

As soon as I read the first line and saw the words "in this table", I knew in my
guts that when I opened the question and saw the whole thing, there would be
no table.  So I opened it and, sure enough, my guts were correct again.

Nobody ... including you ... can answer this question without seeing the table.
Maybe that's been your whole problem, and the reason you're having trouble
with it.  Sit down, relax, and spend some time with the table.

The post office is at the corner of First Street and Main Street, which forms a right angle. First Street intersects with Oak St
Zolol [24]

Answer:

Option c

Step-by-step explanation:

We are given that the post office is at the corner of first street and main street and they form  right angled .

We have to find the distance travel by car B to reach Oak street from First street

Let x be the distance traveled by car B on First street to get to Oak street

In right angled triangle NOE

OE=14 miles

NO=x

tany^{\circ}=\frac{5}{7}

tan\theta=\frac{opposite \;side\; of\; angle\; y}{adjacent\; side \;of\; y}

\frac{5}{7}=\frac{x}{14}

x=\frac{5\times 14}{7}

x=10 miles

Therefore, option c is true.
