Step-by-step explanation:

∫ erf(x) dx

Integrate by parts.

If u = erf(x), then du = 2/√π e^(-x²) dx.

If dv = dx, then v = x.

∫ u dv = uv − ∫ v du

= x erf(x) − ∫ 2/√π x e^(-x²) dx

= x erf(x) + 1/√π ∫ -2x e^(-x²) dx

Substitution.

If u = -x², then du = -2x dx.

= x erf(x) + 1/√π ∫ e^u du

= x erf(x) + 1/√π e^u + C

= x erf(x) + 1/√π e^(-x²) + C

mario62 [17]

The leading term of polynomial function is the the term contain highest degree so here in the given question leading term is  -3x^5

and leading coefficient is the coefficient of the term with greatest exponent -3

RULES for End behaviour

we have following four cases

CASE1: Even degree and positive leading coefficient

x\rightarrow -\infty      f(x)\rightarrow \infty

x\rightarrow \infty        f(x)\rightarrow \infty

CASE2: Even degree and negative leading coefficient

x\rightarrow -\infty        f(x)\rightarrow -\infty

x\rightarrow \infty           f(x)\rightarrow -\infty

CASE3: Odd degree and positive leading coefficient

x\rightarrow -\infty          f(x)\rightarrow -\infty

x\rightarrow \infty              f(x)\rightarrow \infty

CASE4: Odd degree and negative leading coefficient

x\rightarrow -\infty              x\rightarrow \infty

x\rightarrow \infty                  f(x)\rightarrow -\infty

Here in the given case we have odd degree and negative leading coefficient

x\rightarrow -\infty              x\rightarrow -\infty

x\rightarrow \infty                  f(x)\rightarrow -\infty

jeyben [28]

you have the ratio of natural:synthetic so;

3:4

3+4=7

357/7=51

3*51:4°51

153:204

therefore, it'd be 204 litres of synthetic oil!!

i hope this helps you!!

Annette [7]

I drew it out below (don't you just love my effort? XD)

You're gonna use the sine trig function to find the length of the shadow

sin26 / 1 = 43 / x; now you cross multiply

sin26 x = 43; divide both sides by sin26

x = 43 / sin26

x = 98 which is the shadow

Hope this helps!
