The recommended daily protein intake for teenage girls is less than the recommended daily protein intake for teenage boys.

Further Explanation:

The recommended daily intake of the individuals greatly varies according to the age, sex and body weight. This is also known as RDA’s. Teenage individuals will be in a phase where the body is going through a series of changes which requires nutrients in a good proportion.

If an individual is in his teenage the nutrients which is required in a good proportion is mainly protein. The daily intake of protein in teenagers varies according to the weight.

The suggested protein intake is approximately around 52 grams per day. A teenage male generally has more body weight than females of the same age as the bone density in males is higher than in females. This is the main criteria which changes the protein requirement in both the sexes.
