C is the correct answer.

Since the 1930s, the American Presidency has become its central institution. This was not always the case. Prior to FDR, the American Presidency had its strengths but was a co-equal branch with the Legislative and the Judiciary Branch.

FDR reshaped the Presidency during the Great Depression and World War II to make it the "first branch" of American government, or certainly the one that Americans perceive as the most important/powerful.

Answer:

The correct option is A) Narrower gender socialization for girls is reflected in differential gender access to media.

Explanation:

There are many situations where gender discrimination becomes common. Gender discrimination is common in many societies more overly underdeveloped and rural societies. Women in these kind of societies are often considered inferior to men. There are many situations where a girl is restricted to do something only because of gender discrimination.

In the scenario discussed in the question, Basima's parents restrict her from growing to the movies whereas allowing her brother to go which shows narrower gender socialization for girls.

wolverine [178]

Answer:

Between 395 and 435 out of 457 orders are filled accurately.

Explanation:

457 minus 42 makes 415. To this number we have to add the 95% confidence, which means that there is a 5% high and low difference that we have to take in account on the perfect 415 outcome. 5% of 415 is 20.75 so that leads to a maximum low of 395 (415-20) and a maximum high of 435 (415 + 20).

Is michelangelo's "cupid" artwork religious?
aleksandr82 [10.1K]
Well, that's an interesting question. It was not religious at the time: Michelangelo and patrons were Christian, and cupids were not part of any religion actually practiced for a long time back then.

Originally, however, cupid was the Roman/Greek god of desire or love. So the artwork refers to an originally religious concept, but was not religious at the time.
