The answer is D. You are just adding 8 to the number of hours you work because you earn 8 dollars an hour, or you can just multiply the number of hours by the wage you get paid and you would get the your gross pay. It would also be in quadrant 1 because all the numbers are positive and quadrant 1 is all positive numbers not like the other quadrants where there is either all negative numbers or some positive numbers and some negative numbers. But to make things shorter the answer is D.

Construct a scalene triangle with side lengths of 7,5 and 7 units. How many triangles are possible, and why?
Andreyy89
You could use a compass and measure out th e leng the length of the base by spreading the sharp edge of the compass at one end of the length and the pencil side at the other create a line this long. then since you already have the measured length of 7 on your compass place the sharp point of it on one end of the already formed line and make a half circle, then measure out 5 units with your compass and do the some thing with the other end of the line. there should be a crossing point where you made the arcs, if not remake the arcs into a full circle just to make sure. where they crossed create a point and draw a line connecting all edges, I really hope this helped.

Factor the polynomial and use the zeros to identify its graph. x4 − 5x3 − 20x2 + 60x + 144
Monica [59]

The zeros of the polynomial are -3, -2, 4 and 6 and the graph of the polynomial is graph (a)

<h3>How to factor the polynomial?</h3>

The polynomial is given as:

P(x) = x^4 - 5x^3 - 20x^2 + 60x + 144

Expand the polynomial function

P(x) = x^4 - 10x^3 + 5x^3 + 24x^2 - 50x^2 + 6x^2 + 120x - 60x + 144

Rewrite the function as:

P(x) = x^4 - 10x^3 + 24x^2 + 5x^3 - 50x^2 + 120x + 6x^2 - 60x + 144

Factorize the function

P(x) = x^2(x^2 - 10x + 24) + 5x(x^2 - 10x + 24) + 6(x^2 - 10x + 24)

Factor out x^2 - 10x + 24

P(x) = (x^2 + 5x + 6)(x^2 - 10x + 24)

Expand each bracket

P(x) = (x^2 + 3x + 2x + 6)(x^2 - 4x - 6x + 24)

Factorize each bracket

P(x) = [x(x + 3) + 2(x + 3)][x(x - 6) - 4(x - 6)]

Factor out x + 3 and x - 6

P(x) = (x + 3)(x + 2)(x - 4)(x - 6)

Set to 0

(x + 3)(x + 2)(x - 4)(x - 6) = 0

Solve for x

x =-3, -2, 4 and 6

Hence, the zeros of the polynomial are -3, -2, 4 and 6 and the graph of the polynomial is graph (a)

William earned $3,200 per month as a teacher for the ten months from September to June. Then he took a job as a barista at a loc
Kitty [74]

Answer:

$3,000

Step-by-step explanation:

To find his average monthly pay, you have to find the total amount that Willian received in a year by multiplying his monthly salary as a teacher for 10 months and his salary as a barista for 2 months and adding up these numbers. Then, you have to divide the total amount he earned by 12 that is the number of months in a year:

($3,200*10)+($2,000*2)= $32,000+4,000=36,000

$36,000/12=$3,000

According to this, his average monthly pay for the 12 months was $3,000.

Cmon fwm on dis one to
stich3 [128]

Answer:

x = 10.5

Step-by-step explanation:

we know that ZP = PX (its the midpoint of the rectangle)

11 = PX

ZP + PX = ZX

11+11 = ZX

22 = ZK

2x + 1 = 22

2x = 22 -1

2x = 21

x = 21/2

x = 10.5
