Answer: Percentage of concentration of the final solution is 65%.

Step-by-step explanation:

Let there are two types of juice solution : A and B

In A:

Number of gallons =3

Concentration Amount of juice solution = 0.80

Total amount of concentration is given by

3\times 0.8=2.4

In B:

Number of gallon =1

Concentration Amount of juice solution = 0.2

total amount of concentration is given by

0.2\times 1=0.2

Total number of gallons be 3+1=4

Concentration of the final solution be x

Total concentration of the final solution for 4 gallons be 4x

So,. According to question,

4x=2.4+0.2\\\\4x=2.6\\\\x=\frac{2.6}{4}\\\\x=\frac{26}{40}\times 100\\\\x=65\%

Hence, Percentage of concentration of the final solution is 65%.

Having serious block because of the units The density of mercury is 13.6 g/cm3. What approximate mass of mercury is required to
mart [117]
I would approach the problem like this:

1 oz bottle.............................30cm^3
33 oz bottle.............................xcm^3

in a 33 oz bottle will be x=33*30=990cm^3
density=mm/v
13.6g/cm^3= m/ 990cm^3
m= 13.6 * 990=13464 g
or 13.464 kg in a 33 oz bottle

Complete the blank with either ∈ or ∉ so that the resulting statement is true. −2__{−6,−3,−5,−1}
Misha Larkins [42]

Answer:

−2 ∉ {−6,−3,−5,−1}

Step-by-step explanation:

Given

Set = {−6,−3,−5,−1}

Element = -2

Required

The interpretation of the question is to state if -2 is an element of the given set or not

The first thing to do is to check through the set to count the number of occurrence of -2

Looking through Set = {−6,−3,−5,−1}, we have that the occurrence of -2 is 0

This implies that -2 is not an element of the given set and this is represented by the symbol ∉

Hence:

−2 ∉ {−6,−3,−5,−1}
