Answer:

B) Bobbed hair.

Explanation:

Flappers were young women during the 1920s who subscribed to a certain type of fashion and lifestyle. They usually wore skirts and dresses, bobbed hair and makeup. They also displayed a rebellious attitude, going against the mainstream values of society. They treated sex casually, listened to jazz, drank alcohol in public and smoked cigarettes. Flappers are often seen as an icon of the political and social changes of the early 20th century.

Answer:

False: In 1787, 57 delegates (including Madison) congregated in Philadelphia for the Constitutional Convention. Although the initial goal was to amend the Articles of Confederation, Madison (among others) favored a whole new document, aka the Constitution. In fact, Madison is known as the Father of the Constitution due to his contributions in creating the document.

How does John jay expose the hyporcritical nature of slavery in his 1786 quote?
spayn [35]

We perceive that a great breach has been made in the moral and physical systems by the introduction of moral and physical evil; how or why, we know not; so, however, it is, and it certainly seems proper that this breach should be closed and order restored.

That men should pray and fight for their own freedom, and yet keep others in slavery, is certainly acting a very inconsistent, as well as unjust and, perhaps, impious part.

It is much to be wished that slavery may be abolished. The honour of the States, as well as justice and humanity, in my opinion, loudly call upon them to emancipate these unhappy people. To contend for our own liberty, and to deny that blessing to others, involves an inconsistency not to be excused.
