Ira Lisetskai [31]

Answer:

x = 48

Step-by-step explanation:

The trick here is to get everything into the numerator. To do this, we multiply everything by 4*3.

\frac{1}{4}x=\frac{1}{3} x+-4\\3x=4x-48\\48=4x-3x\\x=48

3. Which inequalities show a correct relationship between expressions?
viktelen [127]

Answer:

  none of the above

Step-by-step explanation:

You can reverse each of the > inequalities so they use the < symbol:

  814 < 273

  322 < 84

Now, in each case, the number on the left should be left of the number on the right on the number line. In each case, the opposite is true, so the given expression is false.

__

From lowest to highest, the numbers in your inequalities are ...

  35, 84, 93, 164, 273, 322, 814

From left to right, this is the order they appear on a number line. If they don't appear in this order in a "<" inequality, the inequality is false.

Fibd the distance and midpoint between each pair of points. C(-2,2) d(5,-3)
Anika [276]

Answer:

D=\sqrt{10} or about 3.2  M=(1.5,-0.5)

Step-by-step explanation:

D=\sqrt{(x2+x1)^2 +(y2-y1)^2}   M=(\frac{x1+x2}{2} , \frac{y1+y2}{2} )

Lets find the distance first:

D=\sqrt{(5+-2)^2 + (-3+2)^2}

D=\sqrt{(3)^2+(-1)^2}

D=\sqrt{9+1}

D=\sqrt{10}

D is about = 3.2

Lets find the midpoint now:

M= (\frac{-2+5}{2} , \frac{2+-3}{2} )

M=(\frac{3}{2} ,\frac{-1}{2} )

M= (1.5,-0.5)
