Answer:

La señora compró 162 caramelos.

Step-by-step explanation:

\frac{4x}{9}\cdot \frac{1}{3} = \frac{4x}{27}.

La cantidad restante en el frasco es

\frac{4x}{9}-\frac{4x}{27} = \frac{8x}{27}.

Finalmente, nos dicen que la cantidad restante es 48.

Es decir,

\frac{8x}{27}=48

Multiplicando ambos lados de la ecuación por 27/8, tenemos que x = 162.

How do i find cos Z
maxonik [38]

Step-by-step explanation:

The cosine function, along with sine and tangent, is one of the three most common trigonometric functions. In any right triangle, the cosine of an angle is the length of the adjacent side (A) divided by the length of the hypotenuse (H). In a formula, it is written simply as 'cos'.

In any right angled triangle, for any angle:

The sine of the angle = the length of the opposite side

                                  the length of the hypotenuse

The cosine of the angle = the length of the adjacent side

                                     the length of the hypotenuse

The tangent of the angle = the length of the opposite side

                                     the length of the adjacent side

So in shorthand notation:

sin = o/h   cos = a/h   tan = o/a

A particular algebra text has a total of 1382 pages which is broken into two parts the second part of the book has 64 more pages
AlladinOne [14]

Answer:

the first part of the book has 659 pages and the second part has 723 pages

Step-by-step explanation:

First we have to raise 2 equations, one that shows us the relationship between one part of the book and the other, and another equation that shows us that together they give us the total of pages

x = second part

y = first part

x = y + 64

x + y = 1382

As the first equation tells us that x = y + 64 we will replace x in the second equation with (y + 64)

x + y = 1382

(y + 64) + y = 1382

y + y = 1382 - 64

2y = 1318

y = 1318/2

y = 659

now we replace in the first equation to y by its value

x = y + 64

x = 659 + 64

x = 723

so the first part of the book has 659 pages and the second part has 723

Please help me with the whole page. I need the answers and calculations please!

4: (3/4 - 1/2) X 3/5.

You need them all to have the same denominator (bottom number)
The lowest common denominator (LCM) of 2,4 and 5 is 20
4 X 5 = 20
2 X 10 = 20
5 X 4 = 20

Then multiply the top number by the amount you need to multiply the bottom number by to get 20

3 X 5 = 15
1 X 10 = 10
3 X 4 = 12

(3/4 - 1/2) X 3/5. Turns to (15/20 - 10/20) X 12/20.

15 - 10  = 5
5 X 12 = 60

Answer: 60/20
Simplified: Either 3 or 3/1.

If you use the steps above then you should be able to do the rest :D

Jobisdone [24]

Answer:

8

Step-by-step explanation:

RT=10 it is on number A

XY=18 it is on number B

YZ=12 it is on number C

So, I think that no D 8 is in last so that is the answer.
