A. What is the mass number of the particle emitted from the nucleus
Alexus [3.1K]

Answer: For a. Mass number for the particle is 0.

For b. The charge on the particle is -1.

For c. Another name for \beta- particle is electron.

Explanation:

Beta- minus decay is the decay process in which beta-particle is emitted. The mass number of the nuclei remains same and the mass number of the particle is 0. The charge on the particle is -1 and the emitted particle is also called as electron.

_Z^A\textrm{X}\rightarrow _{Z+1}^A\textrm{Y}+_{-1}^0\beta

For a. The mass number for the particle is 0.

For b. The charge on the particle is -1.

For c. Another name for \beta- particle is electron.

pishuonlain [190]
The relationship between the evaporation rate and the likelihood that the liquid will be flammable is its flash point number (or the lowest temperature for which the liquid ignites) and its activation energy (how much energy is required to ignite it). With volatile liquids or gases these numbers seem to be lower.

The difference would be that Mercury has a denser, warmer atmosphere and Earth has a not that dense and gassy atmosphere. The Earth's atmosphere also has a lot of layers while Mercury's doesn't. Those would be the reasons for them both being different. Hope this helped!
