➷ Aerobic respiration would produce only carbon dioxide, water and energy. This is because there is enough oxygen. Alternatively, anaerobic respiration doesn't have enough oxygen and so, lactic acid is produced. Lactic acid causes cramps. Aerobic fitness wouldn't lead to cramping whereas anaerobic would.
