A student uses a piece of string to measure the approximate distance between New York and Los Angeles on a globe she finds that it is about 12in. She knows that the distance between New York and Los Angeles is about 3,000miles what is the approximate scale for the globe??????? CAN someone explain this to me I don’t understand
