<u><em>In 1830 United States needed  to organize  the relations with  the Native Americans. The problem was the invasion of the white people on Indians lands so the Continental Congress prohibit unauthorized  intrusion or purchase of the Indian lands. </em></u>

<u><em>Many Indian Tribes did treaties with British and French representing a military risk to the new nation. Meanwhile the US Government tried to keep peace with the Indians and using trade as its device. We remember infact the Government Trading Act of April 18, 1796 which established a liberal trade with the majority  of the Indian Nations within the limits of the US.</em></u>
