Spiders that inject venom into their prey in order to kill it, have the venomous glands located in the chelicerae. The chelicerae are fangs that act as hypodermic needles that inject the venom. All spiders have them but not all of them are used to inject venom.

Which of the following pairs is not correctly matched?
Elden [556K]

Answer:

B

Explanation:

T tubules do not generate ATPs. This is done by mitochondria. T tubules are the invagination of cell membranes into the muscle cells. They allow for rapid actuation of the action  potential by the muscle cells. They do this by synchronizing the release of calcium ions that are important in muscle contraction.

What is present in the soil that makes nitrogen<br> directly available to plants?
lubasha [3.4K]
In order for plants to assimilate nitrogen directly into their system, the nitrogen must be in the form of nitrates. Nitrogen in the air and ammonia from decayed matter in the soil is converted to ammonium by decomposers and nitrogen-fixing bacteria. The ammonium is further nitrified to nitrates by nitrifying bacteria. Finally, the nitrates can then absorbed by the plants.
