Answer:

D). Professor Summers begins her essay by discussing hunger.

Explanation:

As per the question, the statement that most clearly seems objective is 'Professor Summers begins her essay by discussing hunger' as it clings to the facts(Professor sticks to the fact to relate the essay) and no affiliation with the feelings, emotions, or opinions. the rest of the options proposes subjective statements as they either include opinions or feelings or values which could not be categorized as true or false or as factual statements. Thus, option D is the correct answer as it asserts a factual statement.

lana66690 [7]
Getting a high school diploma is important because it'll tell people that you graduated and know more than more drop outs about math, English, Science, and Government. If you try to apply for a job and they ask what grade you finish and if you put the grade you dropped out they won't hire you. If you don't get the a diploma you won't be able to go to college and get your masters or bachelors degree. Without a diploma you wont be able to get the dream job you wanted to get. You wont be able to afford a big house to live in and you may be living in a run down apartment or house

1. Why do you think Steinbeck uses these intercalary chapters within a story that is otherwise about a particular family?
Aliun [14]

Answer:

As Steinbeck wrote, the intercalary chapters are in place to evoke an emotional response from the readers of The Grapes of Wrath. Whether they are explanatory, sermon-like, or metaphorical, they approach the reader in a 'big picture' way that the narrative chapters cannot.
