The answer is 7. Because $21.50-4=17.50 and then 17.50÷2.50=7

The equation is $21.50 = 2.50x + 4
So the first step is subtracting 4 from both sides
So you are left with $17.50 = 2.50x
Then divide both sides by 2.50
So you get 7 = x

So you can go on 7 rides
