Philippines could not go to Germany or France because they were both economic rivals.

Explanation:

Mc Kinley was always in favor of keeping Philippines with them so that it did not go to countries like Germany and France because both these countries were economic rivals of the United States of America so it would be bad for the economy if Philippines is given away would turn out to be a bad decision. More over it was necessary to civilize the backward people.

Answer:I have some: the ACLU- American Civil Liberties Union. They work to enforce the protection of existing rights of all Americans, though they do often work to expand rights, such as gay rights, etc. They are a group of lawyers.

2. NAACP- Nat'l Association for the Advancement of Colored People. They work to protect existing rights of racial and ethnic minorities.

3. NRA- National Rifle Association. Work to protect and expand the rights of gun-owners, based on their interpretation of the 2nd Amendment that it gives individuals the right to carry firearms. Another interpretation is that it gives states the right to form militias (what gun-control advocates often say). There are other interpretations as well.

4.Native American Rights Fund-The Native American Rights Fund mission is the preservation of tribal existence, the protection of tribal natural resources, the promotion of human rights, the accountability of governments, the development of Indian law and educating the public about Indian rights, laws, and issues.

Hope it helps!!

Contact [7]
The leader most closely associated with Desmond Tutu and FW de Klerk is 3. Nelson Mandela. Tutu and De Klerk were both prominent features in South Africa during the period of apartheid. In fact, De Klerk was the leader of South Africa that won a Nobel Peace Prize with Nelson Mandela for ending apartheid and opening elections to native South Africans rather than simply white Afrikaaners in 1994.
