Which of these is measured during a scientific investigation? Group of answer choices Control group Test variable (independent v
Dovator [93]

Answer:

Outcome variable (dependent variable)

Explanation:

In a scientific investigation, a DEPENDENT VARIABLE (also known as outcome variable) is the variable that is being measured. The dependent variable, as the name implies, responds to the changes made to the independent variable.

For example, in an experiment where the effects of different concentration of fertilizer is used to test plant growth (height), the HEIGHT OF THE PLANTS is the dependent variable because it is the variable being measured.

Once amylase has broken down starch, can it break down another starch molecule?
Juliette [100K]

Answer:

Yes, amylase can be reused, and when fulfills its catalytic function, it is free to catalyze the breakdown of another starch molecule.

Explanation:

Amylase is an enzyme capable of catalyzing the breakdown of starch bonds, separating it into glucose molecules.

The enzymes, including amylase, have the property of being free and without structural alteration when catalyzing a reaction, to bind to the specific substrate and catalyze a new reaction.

Amylase is not consumed, unlike a reagent, so it can be reused in new reactions.
