The different viewpoints of Frederick Douglass and Captain Canot regarding slavery would be that Frederick Douglass wanted freedom for all slaves, but Captain Canot wanted slavery. Hope this helps. Have a nice day. Please feel free to ask more questions.
Wilson is suggesting that the day for spreading a nations influence as well as its size is long behind, stating that the prime time for the United States to spread influentially in Europe is no longer there. Or in another case no European nation should be able to spread conquest across the continent and that they had their chance. thats the best i can think of hope this helps
I think that Adam Smith would be more supportive of globalization of multinational corporations since his major work, the Wealth of Nations dealt with the workings of the capitalist system and supported it. I think that Karl Marx would be strongly opposed to the control that the multi-nationals have over their neo-colonies but at the same time would applaud the way that globalization has developed solidarity between the working class of the different countries such as between the major capitalist countries and the so-called Third World countries.
