Little Timmy came home from daycare complaining that his throat hurt and he had red, raised spots on his hands and feet. When hi

s mother went to take his temperature she noticed that he had blister-like lesions on his tongue and the inside of his mouth. She immediately called the doctor and asked him to prescribe some antibiotics for Timmy. The doctor explained antibiotics wouldn't help and recommended ibuprofen for the fever and pain, rest and to try to get him to drink lots of fluids.
