Power is work done per time and work done is force times distance. The power is found by multiplying the force(20N) and the distance(5m) and dividing the product by the time(5s)
(20*5)/5=20Nm/s OR 20 watts.
Therefore the power needed is 20 watts.

Answer:

It will need 20 Watts power to move the box 5 meters in 5 seconds.

Step-by-step explanation:

The power is defined as the work per unit time or the rate of doing work:

W=dL/dt

Where de work L, can be calculated by multiplying the force by the displacement d:

L=F.d

To this example, F and D are known, therefore the work is:

L=20N . 5m=40 Nm

We know that the work is doing within a time of 5 seconds:

W= 40 Nm / 5s = 20 Nm/s = 20 Watts

F(x)=2xsquared2+3 and g(x)=xsquared2-7, find(f-g)(x)
Setler [38]

Answer:

f(x) = 2x² + 3

g(x) = x² - 7

( f - g)(x) = 2x² - x² +3 --7

= x² + 3 + 10

= x² + 10

Hope this helps.

Which of the following equations have complex roots?
valkas [14]

Answer:

B

Step-by-step explanation:

A:

Completing the square:  (x+ 7/2)^2 = -2 + 49/4 = 41/4, in the next step you'll be square rooting a positive number so it'll have real roots.

B:

Completing the square:  (x+3/2)^2 = -9 + 9/4 = -27/4, you'll next be square rooting a negative number, so it'll have complex roots

C:

Completing the square:  (x-5/2)^2 = -1 + 25/4 = 21/4, next you'll square root a positive number, so real roots

D:

Completing the square: (x+7/2)^2 = 2 + 49/4 = 57/4, square root a positive number, so real roots.

A basket contains five apples and seven peaches. You randomly select one piece of fruit and eat it. Then you randomly select ano
IgorC [24]

Answer:

Step-by-step explanation:

Total fruits T= 5+7 = 12

No. Of apple n(A) = 5

No. Of peaches n(P) = 7

P(A) 1st = n(A)/T = 5/12

P(P) 2nd = n(p)/(T-1) = 7/11

: P(A and P) = 5/12 × 7/11

= 35/132

The width of a human hair is about 1* 10^-4 meter wide.
Licemer1 [7]

Answer: The answer is 7.

Step-by-step explanation:

1*10^-4 equals 0.001 and 7*10^-4 equals 0.007 so 0.007 divided by 0.001 is 7. I hope this makes sense !
