A die in the shape of a cube has 6 faces going from 1 - 6 inclusive, unless you have some sort of die that is not a standard. A coin has to faces. You would be surprised the number of times I've had to clarify this.

The probability of getting heads is 1/2 [the other half goes to getting tails].

The probability of throwing a die and getting a 3 is 1/6.

The probability of getting both at the same time is 1/6 * 1/2 = 1/12.

1/12 <<<<< answer.

Probability of a three = 1/6
Probability of a head = 1/2
Probability of a three followed by a head = 1/6 × 1/2 = 1/12
