Spent a day = $3
After 14 days = $68 left

a) x = 3
14x = - 68
14x + 68 = 0

b) 14(3) + 68 = $120

c) total money = y
y - 14x = 120
y = 14(3) + 120
y = 172

172 - 3n = 0
3n = 172
n = 57 days and 8 hours

Sorry If I am wrong,but I've tried my best to give you the solution..

Butoxors [25]

Answer: 5\dfrac{1}{4}\ \text{cups of flour}

Step-by-step explanation:

Given

Klarissa requires 1\ \frac{3}{4} cups of flour to make a recipe

Convert mixed numeral to fraction

\Rightarrow 1\dfrac{3}{4}=\dfrac{4+3}{4}\\\\\Rightarrow \dfrac{7}{4}

If she wants to triple the recipe then,

\Rightarrow 3\times \dfrac{7}{4}=\dfrac{21}{4}\\\\\Rightarrow \text{or}\ 5\dfrac{1}{4}\ \text{cups of flour}
