Given:

Number of moles of butane = 6

To determine:

Moles of carbon dioxide produced

Explanation:

The chemical reaction involving combustion of butane is:

2C4H10 + 13O2 → 10H2O + 8CO2

Based on the reaction stoichiometry:

2 moles of butane produces 8 moles of CO2

Therefore, 6 moles of butane would yield:

6 moles C4H10 * 8 moles CO2/2 moles butane = 24 moles of CO2

Ans: If 6 mole of butane burns 24 moles of CO2 will be produced.

blagie [28]

We are given that 1 teaspoon is equivalent to 5 mL, therefore 0.75 teaspoon is:

0.75 teaspoon * (5 mL / 1 teaspoon) = 3.75 mL

So the mass is density times volume:

mass = (12.5 mg/5 ml) * 3.75 mL

At stp which gas will diffuse more readily than ne
pav-90 [236]
I am assuming you are talking about Neon. The rate of diffusion is directly proportional to the molar mass of the gas. Since neon has a molar mass of 20.18 grams, the gas must have a lower molar mass and must be a gas at 273 Kelvin. There are several elements that fulfill this criteria: Hydrogen, Helium, Oxygen, Nitrogen, and Fluorine.

How does an elements period number related to the number of the energy level of its valence electrons?
Mrac [35]
There is a direct correlation between the period number and the energy level for valence electrons. For example, the H and He elements, in period 1, have their outer electrons in the energy level "1". This continues down the rows: all the elements in period 2 have their principal energy level as n = 2, period 3 has n = 3, and so on.
