10. If it rained 7/10 of the days, 3/10 days did not receive rain.

90 days multiplied by 3/10 is 27.

It would not rain about 27 days in the 90 days.

11. x multiplied by 8 and a half equals 5.

(8 and 1/2)x = 5

x = .588235 which is about 6/10

12. C = 6/10 and D = 8/10 so the product would be 48/100 which is close to 5/10. This point is N.

10: 27 (because it did not rain 3 out of 10 days, multiplying both by 9 gives us 27 out of 90 days of no rain)

11: 0.588 (because that is about 5/8.5)

12: N (because C is at 0.6 and D is at 0.8, and their product is 0.48)

1. Find the equation of the line that passes through the point
professor190 [17]

Answer:

None of the above ? (the equation should be y=12)

Step-by-step explanation:

the line parallel to line y=40-1=39 means it's a horizontal line. Which means it's y coordinate is also a constant. Since it pass through (2,12),it means the constant of y is 12.

Which statements accurately describe the function f(x) = 3(StartRoot 18 EndRoot) Superscript x? Select three options. The domain
Studentka2010 [4]

Answer:

The domain is all real numbers.

The initial value is 3

The simplified base is 9\sqrt{2}

Step-by-step explanation:

The given function is f(x)=3(\sqrt{18})^x.

To find the initial value, we put x=0 into the function:

f(0)=3(\sqrt{18})^0.

f(0)=3(1)=3.

The initial value is actually 3.

The given function is an exponential function, therefore the domain is all real numbers.

The range of this function refers to all values of y for which the function is defined.

The line y=0, is the horizontal asymptote.

The range is y\:>\:0

The simplified base is 3\sqrt{18}=3\sqrt{9\times2}.

3\sqrt{18}=3\sqrt{9}\times\sqrt{2}

3\sqrt{18}=3\times3\times\sqrt{2}

3\sqrt{18}=9\sqrt{2}
