Answer:

B

Explanation:

There is a correlation between malaria infested regions and the allele frequency of sickle cell anemia, because the non sickle cell allele frequency is decreasing faster than the sickle cell allele frequency. The S allele is being selected for during natural selection in these areas. The S allele frequency is changing far less than the A allele frequency. This shows that the A allele is being selected against, therefore, there are far fewer of those alleles being inherited in each generation compared to the S allele. This selection of the S allele coincides with the correlation that exists in malaria infested areas and sickle cell anemia.

Aristotle defines a virtue as a(n) __________ that requires __________.
DENIUS [597]

Aristotle illustrates virtue in a way distinct from what one is usually taught in school, but it is much closer to how one thinks on a regular basis. One is usually taught that courage is the contrary of cowardice, and generosity is the reverse of miserliness and others.

Although, Aristotle illustrates virtue as the mean between the two extremes, which requires to be avoided. For Aristotle, virtue is the golden mean between the two extremes. Though the mean is not a strict arithmetic mean. Virtue comes in between the two extremes, but where it actually comes depends on a very large extent to a particular situation.

How can cells from the same organism have such different shapes and functions?
Savatey [412]

Answer: As each cell differentiates, the DNA changes so that each type of cell has different DNA once it reaches maturity. Mutations in the cells’ nuclei lead to new combinations of DNA, resulting in different shapes and functions in the different types of cells.

Hope this helps!
