Answer:

The strategy is to even out the numbers mentally. Since 29 is 30-1 and 31 is 30+1, you can use your mental math skills to convert the problem into 30+30, which would then be an easier solved problem; the answer is 60. Sorry if this sounds confusing!

911!!! please answer this!!!
VikaD [51]

\left(\dfrac{3a^{-3}b^2}{2a^{-1}b^0}\right)^2

First some simplifying:

\left(\dfrac{3a^1b^2}{2a^3b^0}\right)^2=\left(\dfrac{3b^2}{2a^2}\right)^2=\dfrac{9b^4}{4a^4}

Then with a=-2 and b=-3, we have a^4=(-2)^4=16=4^2 and b^4=(-3)^4=81=9^2, so

\dfrac{9b^4}{4a^4}=\dfrac{9\cdot9^2}{4\cdot4^2}=\dfrac{9^3}{4^3}=\dfrac{729}{64}

Enjoli is making cupcakes for a party. She needs 45 cupcakes but the recipe makes 15.
scoundrel [369]

Answer:

C

Step-by-step explanation:

Enjoli needs 45 cupcakes for the party

The recipe makes 15 cupcakes

So Enjoli needs three times what the recipe produces

Lets form an expression for number of cupcakes produced by the recipe;

1 batches + 1.5 strawberries= 15 cupcakes---------multiply by 3 to get Enjoli's

3batches + 4.5 strawberries= 45 cupcakes

From the graph, it is point C

Clara writes the following proof for the theorem:if the diagonals of a quadrilateral bisect each other
tekilochka [14]

well, for a <u>square</u> the diagonals do bisec each other, they cut each other in two equal halves.

and for a <u>rectangle</u>, they do as well, mind that a square is a rectangle with all equal sides anyway.

wait just a second, for a <u>parallelogram</u>, they do bisect as well.

hold the mayo, for a <u>rhombus</u> they do too, what the dickens is going on?

well, what do they all those have in common?

they're all quadrilaterals, but, they all have two pairs of parallel sides.

mind you that, a <u>kite</u> is also a quadrilateral, however, it doesn't have all equal sides and the diagonals do not bisect each other, and yes, it has no pairs of parallel sides.
