What statements best define percent error? Check all that apply. It is a mathematical way of showing accuracy.The higher the per

cent error, the more accurate the data set.The higher the percent error, the less accurate the data set.Only the experimental value is needed to calculate percent error.Only the actual, or accepted, value is needed to calculate percent error.A percent error always has a positive value.

Percent error is a way to present or show accuracy of a data set mathematically. Also, having a higher value of such would mean that there is low accuracy of the data points. It is calculated using the actual value and the theoretical value. Lastly, it will always have a positive value.

Answer: It is a mathematical way of showing accuracy.The higher the percent error, the less accurate the data set.

Explanation:

Percent error is the difference between the experimental value and theoretical value and measures the accuracy of the result found. The larger the error, lesser is the accuracy and vice versa.

{\text {percent error}=\frac{|\text {Accepted value- Experimental value}|}{\text {accepted value}}

The experimental value can be greater or smaller than accepted value thus percent error can be positive as well as negative. But we only consider the value without the sign.

Magnitude of force F experienced by a certain object moving with speed v is given by F=Kv race to 2, where K is constant. Find t
My name is Ann [436]

Answer:

MT⁻¹

Explanation:

Given equation:

F = Kv        --------------(i)

Where;

F = Magnitude of force experienced by the object

v = speed at which the object is moving

K = constant.

To get the dimension of K, follow the following steps:

i. Make K subject of the formula in equation(i)

K = F / v

ii. Get the dimension of force F and speed v

Dimension of force = MLT⁻²

Dimension of velocity = LT⁻¹

iii. Substitute these dimensions into the result of (i) above;

K = MLT⁻² / LT⁻¹

iv. Simplify the result in (iii)

First, the Ls in the numerator and denominator will cancel out

K = MT⁻² / T⁻¹

Next, the Ts will be expressed as follows

K = MT⁻² x T¹ [using the law of indices]

K = MT⁻²⁺¹

K = MT⁻¹

Therefore, the dimension of K is MT⁻¹

A potter’s wheel of radius 17 cm starts from rest and rotates with constant angular acceleration until at the end of 32 s it is
dedylja [7]

Answer:

α=0.625rad/s^2

v=340m/s

w=10rad/s

θ=320rad

Explanation:

Constant angular acceleration = ∆w/∆t

angular acceleration = 20/32

α=0.625rad/s^2

Linear velocity v=wr

v = 20×17= 340m/s

Average angular velocity

w0+w1/2

w= 0+20/2

w= 20/2

w=10rad/s

What angle did it rotate with

θ=wt

θ= 10×32

=320rad
