Answer:

C. Many critics of the movement were punished and China became a communist country

Explanation:

The Cultural Revolution was taking place from 1966 until the mid 1970's. The leader of it was Mao Zedong who wanted to reinforce his position, as well as the position of the Communist Party in the Chinese society. Mao was very cruel, and in order to achieve his goals of making China a one party system communist nation where he had an absolute power he was not thinking twice about the methods used. Everyone that was seen as a political opponent, or even if it was not a political figure but had a different opinion, was severely punished, usually with death.

Answer: want

Explanation:

Even though the word "needs" and "wants" are often used to represent thesame thing or meaning by most people, it should be noted that they are different.

Needs refer to the things that are paramount to our survival on Earth e.g. clothing, food, water. As individuals, we need these things to survive.

Want are what we desire. It should be noted that wants are not as important as needs and we can survive even if we don't get them e.g phones, radios, televisions etc.
