The factorization of the expression 9 x^{2}-4 y^{2}  is (3x+2y) (3x-2y).

<u>Solution: </u>

In the expression 9 x^{2}-4 y^{2}, 9 x^{2}  can be written as (3 x)^{2}  . Similarly 4 y^{2}  can be written as (2 y)^{2}

9 x^{2}-4 y^{2}=(3 x)^{2}-(2 y)^{2}

Since both terms (3 x)^{2}  and (2 y)^{2} are perfect squares, using the difference of squares formula,

a^{2}-b^{2}=(a+b)(a-b)

Here a = (3x) and b = (2y)

(3 x)^{2}-(2 y)^{2}=(3 x+2 y)(3 x-2 y)

(3x+2y)  and  (3x-2y)  are the factors of 9 x^{2}-4 y^{2}

deff fn [24]

Answer:

-3.872983346

Step-by-step explanation:

In this case we have: cos θ = 1/4 Whose possible solutions are: θ = 2 * pi * n - Acos (1/4) θ = 2 * pi * n + Acos (1/4) Where, n belongs to the natural numbers. As sin θ <0 then the solution is: θ = 2 * pi * n - Acos (1/4) For n = 1 we get: θ = 4.965069236 radians Thus: tan θ = tan (4.965069236) = - 3.872983346 Answer: tan θ = -3.872983346

Place the indicated product in the proper location on the grid. (a+b-c)(a+b+c)
aliina [53]

Answer:

The required location on the gird is shown below.

Step-by-step explanation:

Consider the provided expression.

We need to place the indicated product in the proper location on the grid.

First open the parenthesis as shown:

(a+b-c)(a+b+c)=a(a+b+c)+b(a+b+c)-c(a+b+c)

(a+b-c)(a+b+c)=a^2+ab+ac+ab+b^2+bc-ac-bc-c^2

Now add the like terms as shown:

(a+b-c)(a+b+c)=a^2+b^2-c^2+2ab

Hence, the required location on the gird is (a+b-c)(a+b+c)=a^2+b^2-c^2+2ab
