factor them
16=2*2*2*2
24=2*2*2*3
lcd=2*2*2*2*3=48

the least common denomenator is 48

9/48 and 22/48 would be the equivilent fracitons

We are given that the area of the triangle inside that polygon is 22.022 units squared.  Knowing that the area formula for a triangle is
