Answer: A) rods are very sensative to light but do not distinguish colors.cones are less sensative to light but can distinguish light.

Explanation:

Rods and cones are the photoreceptors which are found in the human retina. Rods are the photoreceptors which perceives light. These are sensitive to low light levels. They do not mediate the vision of color. The cones are the photoreceptors which are sensitive to color but they are less sensitive towards intensity of light. The rods have the ability to perceive a single photon but cones generally works in brighter light intensity.

As filtrate passes through the long loop of Henle, salt is removed and concentrated in the interstitial fluid of the kidney medu
storchak [24]

Answer:

Nephron is the functional unit of kidney. The kidney contains around 4 to 5 million of nephrons in their structure. These nephrons helps in the blood filtration.

The loop of Henley passes down the filtrate for the production of urine. The excess salt is removed from the loop and deposited in the medullary part of the kidney. This is important as the nephron can now become hyperosmotic  medullary concentration and helps in the urine production.
