In 1981 the Professional Air Traffic Controllers Organization Union thought Reagan would support it in its strike because
statuscvo [17]

Answer:

b. He had supported the union in previous matters.

Explanation:

During the 1980 campaign for the presidency, candidate Ronald Reagan had endorsed the Professional Air Traffic Controllers Organization (PATCO), which was the air traffic controllers union. As a candidate in the campaign, Reagan had voiced his support for the union's desire for better working conditions. But when the PATCO workers went on strike in 1981, as President of the United States, Reagan had a different opinion. He called the strike illegal and a threat to national safety. He fired more than 11,000 workers who refused his order to return to work, and federal judges set $1 million per day fines against the union as long as the strike persisted.

Analyze the successes and failures of the united states cold war policy of containment
leonid [27]
The Cold War Containment policy was a complete bust because we pour money into failing countries so they there economy was strong enough to where they wouldn't have radical thoughts of communism this was referred to as the Truman doctrine and then the Eisenhower doctrine that funded the middle east. Then we went into the police action "war" in Korea so that the domino effect wouldn't allow other nations to fall to communism

Hunter-Best [27]

The correct answer is C. A decrease in hydropower development.

The Yangtze River is one of the longest rivers by volume in all the world. And it has become the river which flows entirely in the country. What makes this river to have less pollution is the fact that there are some parts that are protected as nature reserves.
