2/7-(2*x) = 0

2/7-2*x = 0

2/7-2*x = 0 // - 2/7

-2*x = -2/7 // : -2

x = -2/7/(-2)

x = 1/7

x = 1/7

2X=1 because you subtract 2 from each side to isolate x, and then you get 10x=5. Then divide 5 by 10, which leaves you with x=1/2, so you multiply that by 2 to solve for 2X, which is 1
