A bag contains 8 white marbles and 2 black marbles.you pick out a marble, record its color,and put the marble back in the bag.if you repeat this process 45 times, how many time would you expect to remove a white marble from the bag?

I believe it's easiest to look at the percentages

8/10 marbles are white which is 80%

so it would follow that on average 80% of the 45 marbles would be white.

Which is 36 marbles.
