To determine the equation of the normal price, set the equation.

Total = t; cookie = c; normal = n; original (price)= o

t = n(c)

Right now, if you buy 7 of them, it will cost 2.80

2.80 = n(7)

Isolate the n. Divide 7 from both sides

(2.80)/7 = (7n)/7

n = 2.80/7

n = 0.40

normal price is 40 cents.

You are finding the original price = o

o = 0.40 + 0.75

o = 1.15

Equation for each cookie original price:

t = o(c)

original price: $1.15

if the following line segment is reflected across the x-axis what are the coordinates new endpoints A.) (-1,-6) and (-3,-2) B.)
Tasya [4]

Answer:

A.) (-1,-6) and (-3,-2)

Step-by-step explanation:

The given line segment has coordinates

(-1,6) and (-3,2)

The mapping for a reflection in the x-axis is

(x,y)\to (x,-y)

This implies that;

(-1,6)\to (-1,-6)

and

(-3,2)\to (-3,-2)

The correct choice is A.

Which equations represent the line that is perpendicular to the line 5x − 2y = −6 and passes through the point (5, −4)? Check al
natka813 [3]
Find the slope of the line first:
5x - 2y = -6,
y = (5/2)x + 3;
Since we need a line that's perpendicular, m = - (2/5).

The only equation that has the slope of this m is 2x + 5y = -10;

The cylinder and the sphere below have the same radius and the same volume. What is the height of the cylinder?
lyudmila [28]

Answer:

Height of cylinder (h) = (4/3)R

Step-by-step explanation:

Given:

Radius of cylinder (r1) = R

Height of cylinder (h) = H

Radius of sphere (r2) = R

Volume of cylinder = volume of sphere

Find:

Height of cylinder (h) = H = ?

Computation:

Volume\ of\ cylinder = volume\ of\ sphere\\\\ \pi (r1)^2h =\frac{4}{3} \pi (r2)^3\\\\\pi (R)^2h =\frac{4}{3} \pi (R)^3\\\\ h=\frac{4}{3}  (R)

Height of cylinder (h) = (4/3)R
