the value of a is 2 bc by looking at the graph a normal parabola of x^2 would bc followinf the 1-3-5 rule but this does not

from the vertex it goes over 1 and up 2

Lets write it in vertex form

y = a(x - 1)^2 - 2        (because the vertex is at (1, -2)

Now the zeroes are   0 and 2 so substituting x = 2 and y = 0 in the above:-

0 = a(2-1)^2 - 2

0 = a - 2

a = 2

so we have y = 2(x - 1)^2 - 2

which in standard form is

y = 2x^2 - 4x + 2 - 2

y = 2x^2 - 4x   is the answer

Anna [14]
X = 180 - 104 - 22 = 180 - 126 = 54 degrees

y = 180 - 54 = 126 degrees

z = 180 - 126 - 19  = 180 - 145  = 35 degrees
